Can I bill patient medical or dental insurance for your services?

  • Your practice can bill dental or medical insurance for our services if desired.  The following billing / procedural codes can be used:

    • Radiology Report
      • CDT/Dental: D0391 (“Interpretation of diagnostic image by a practitioner not associated with capture of the image, including report.”)
      • CPT/Medical: 76140 (“Consultation on x-ray examination made elsewhere, written report.”)
    • Image Report (included in each radiology report)
      • ADA/Dental: D0363 (“Three-dimensional image reconstruction using existing data, includes multiple images.”)
  • Assurance Dental Imaging does not file insurance claims. We are not able to assist you with filing claims beyond providing you with the appropriate CDT and CPT codes to use when filing a claim for our services.

Can patients pay you directly?

Unfortunately not.  When your practice is prompted to input a credit card, you must enter a practice credit card and if desired we will keep the card information on file for your convenience when you submit future cases. We cannot charge patients’ credit cards or send patients invoices for our services.  It is the responsibility of your practice to bill the patient.

I am interested in uploading multiple cases a day. Do you have a quicker and easier way to do this?

Yes.  For clients who want to upload a larger number of cases on a more regular basis we are able to provide a direct connect “digital gateway” for image and report transmission.  Please refer to OUR PROCESS for additional information.

Can I have a sample radiology report?

Yes, we have a sample radiology report you can download at the bottom of this page.

What devices can I use to view my radiology reports?

Your radiology report can be viewed on any PC or Mac device that has an internet connection (laptop, desktop, mobile phone, or tablet).

Who do I contact if I’m having trouble uploading a case or logging into my Intelerad PACS account to view my cases?
