Our Process

Choose between flexible, on-demand case submissions through our secure portal or a fully automated “digital gateway” designed for seamless, high-volume imaging integration.

Option A

For intermittent use or sending images based on patient preference / request.

1. Register your practice on our HIPAA Compliant web portal. This allows you access to our Intelerad PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) for viewing your images and reports after they are completed.

2. Create a new case:

  • Select “Choose File” and select the images to be uploaded. If uploading Panoramic or intraoral radiographs, select the checkbox as directed before choosing the file(s) to upload.
  • Provide the reason for study and any other relevant clinical information that would be helpful to the radiologist for interpretation and reporting.  Please also provide any patient contact information as we will then be more able to contact the patient directly if they have a finding of potential clinical significance.
  • Select if the case is urgent (24-hour turnaround, additional $40 charge).
  • Select the exam type from the drop-down list.

3. Enter the practice credit card information and complete payment.

4. Our standard turnaround time is 2-4 business days. Rush turnaround is available by the end of the next business day.

5. You will receive an email that your case is complete. Login to your Intelerad PACS account to download the completed PDF report.

Option B

For sending all imaging of a given type automatically to Assurance Dental Imaging for interpretation.

1. If your practice would like to have all of the image exams of a given type (cone beam ct, panorex, etc.) sent for interpretation, we are able to create a “digital gateway” so that the images are automatically sent to Intelerad PACS for review.  Reports are also able to be automatically downloaded and sent to a file destination of your choosing either on your cloud or office hard drive.  Billing for gateway clients is sent in aggregate at the beginning of each month covering the prior month’s services.
